Compulsory in-depth courses are aimed at providing:<br>\r\n\u2013 completion of basic and methodological training<br>\r\n\u2013 tools for in-depth knowledge of all classes of materials (courses in Science and technology of ceramic materials, glass and composite materials)<br>\r\n\u2013 production methods of the different classes of materials<br>\r\n\u2013 mechanical design<br>\r\n\u2013 materials transformation and processing technologies<br>\r\n\u2013 selection and management of materials in operation<br>\r\nThe courses are <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">mainly in English<\/span>.<br>\r\nWith the elective courses the student obtains the widest preparation in the aspects most suited to his nature and his job expectations.<br>\r\nThe training profile, from the A.Y. 2021-2022, is organized by joining one of the following 3 curricula:<br>\r\n\u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">AMASE<\/span> \u2013 Advanced Materials Science and Engineering [International Master that allows you to have a double degree, at least six months in one of the partner universities: <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">https:\/\/www.eusmat.net\/international-studies\/master\/amase<\/span>]<br>\r\n\u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">Functional materials<\/span> (Materials for energy\/Nano-bio materials)<br>\r\n\u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">Materials for advanced technologies<\/span><br>\r\nThe curricula offer a different articulation of compulsory and elective courses (with courses completely in English for the AMASE curriculum). The employment prospects are consequently excellent, both locally and nationally, but <span style=\"font-weight: 700\">above all in Europe<\/span>, as shown by the statistics on the inclusion of materials engineers from all Italian universities.
