The Master’s Degree Course in Electrical Energy Engineering encourages access by students who have obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrotechnics at other locations or who have obtained degrees in disciplines other than Electrical Engineering.
Enrollment to the Course is subject to the possession of the minimum curricular requirements for admission. These are listed in the Didactic Regulations of the Course of Study and also on the University of Padua website, at this page, where the formal procedure that applicants must follow for pre-registration and any official request for evaluation of the minimum curricular requirements is also described. Normally, the document is updated once a year, well in advance of the deadlines for the procedures relating to the following academic year.
Interested candidates, however, may at any time obtain a prior assessment of their curricular requirements by making a request to the Student Practices Commission of the Course of Study. The opinion of the Commission is only indicative and not official; the only official decision is the one given following the presentation of an official application for the evaluation of the minimum curricular requirements, according to the University procedure.
In order to obtain a prior assessment, candidates must send an e-mail to the committee made up of Professors Mauro Andriollo and Michele Forzan (a single e-mail with both recipients visible) with the subject “Transfer student Name Surname from University“, in which the request must be described and the following must be attached.
The student’s study plan for the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree course attended;
the scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD) relating to each of the subjects indicated in point 1.
The Commission reserves the right to request additional documentation if necessary.
Any e-mail communication subsequent to the first one must always report the entire history of the e-mail messages that have already been sent, in order to allow the reader (even at a distance of time) to immediately reconstruct all the communications that have already taken place (i.e. always use the REPLY button for all e-mails subsequent to the first one sent).
