The master’s degree in Civil and Industrial Safety Engineering favors the enrollment to graduates of the degree courses in possession of a degree ex DM 270/04 in the class L7 Civil and environmental engineering or in the class L9 Industrial engineering.
Enrollment in the second cycle degree in Civil and Industrial Safety Engineering is subject to the fulfillment of specific requirements. They are reported in the Admission Notice of the School of Engineering, available on this page , which also describes the formal procedure which students must follow for pre-enrollment and for the official request of prior assessment and credit recognition. Typically, the document is updated once a year, well in advance (July) with respect to the deadlines of the next academic year.
The transfers allow a student to continue at the University of Padova the studies begun in another University. The formal procedure and deadlines are described on this page, however students can obtain an informal assessment of their situation at any time by submitting a request to the Student Practices Commission. The Commission’s opinion is only indicative and not official; the only official decision is provided after the presentation of a request according to the University procedure. However, the prior assessment allows students to have a reliable answer in a short time, at any time during the year and without any expense.
To obtain the informal prior assessment, students must send an e-mail to the Programme coordinator, Prof. Paolo Simonini, with the subject “Student transfer Name Surname from which University”. The text of the e-mail must describe the request and the following files must be attached:
– the study plan for the attended first or second cycle degree, indicating the passed exams;
– the official programs with the contents of each taught course.
Any e-mail communication subsequent to the first must always report the entire history of the e-mail messages already elapsed, to allow the reader (even after some time) to immediately reconstruct all the communications already elapsed (i.e. always use REPLY for all e-mails subsequent to the first).
