During your PhD, different figures will support you depending on your needs.

For general administrative issues, official enrollment, certificates, and general inquiries, your primary contact is the Secretariat.

This professor acts as the primary scientific and organizational point of reference for all PhD candidates enrolled in that specific track. You can turn to your Curriculum Contact Person for:

  • Academic Coordination: guidance on your training path, choice of courses, and curriculum-specific activities.
  • Daily Support: the first line of contact to answer doubts or help resolve organizational issues during your PhD.
  • Authorizations & Budget: official approval for research-related expenses, purchases, and travel/mission requests (e.g., attending conferences or visiting foreign institutions).
  • Annual Assessment: they serve as a core member of the evaluation committee during your end-of-year progress presentations.
