The Academic Board (Collegio Docenti) is the primary scientific and educational governing body of the PhD Programme in Industrial Engineering. It is composed of highly qualified professors and senior researchers from the University of Padua, spanning the full spectrum of the five specialized curricula. Composed of distinguished professors and researchers from the Department of Industrial Engineering and external partner institutions, the Board is chaired by the PhD Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Educational Strategy: Designing and updating the PhD curricula and the annual training program.
- Student Supervision: Assigning supervisors and co-supervisors to newly enrolled PhD candidates.
- Evaluation: Reviewing and approving the students’ annual reports and training plans to authorize their admission to the following academic year.
- Final Examination: Approving the final thesis for submission to external evaluators and proposing the members of the final examination committee.
