The PhD journey is demanding and can present interpersonal or organizational challenges. The Academic Mediators are impartial faculty members appointed to ensure the well-being of doctoral candidates.
They provide a confidential and safe channel to discuss conflicts with supervisors, integration issues within research groups, or interpretation of regulations. Their role is to listen without judgment and facilitate constructive dialogue to resolve issues informally, acting as a neutral third party distinct from the Coordinator and the Academic Board.
