Coordination and Operational Structure

The governance of the PhD Programme in Industrial Engineering is designed to ensure strategic foresight, scientific excellence, and operational efficiency across its five curricula.

The direction of the Programme is entrusted to the Coordinator, supported by the Vice-Coordinator, who oversees general management and external representation. Administrative coordination and support for the programme’s day-to-day operations are provided by the Administrative Secretariat of the Department.

The core decision-making body for educational and scientific policies is the Academic Board (Collegio Docenti), responsible for defining training paths and monitoring student progress. The operational execution of administrative and organizational tasks is managed by the Executive Committee (Consiglio Direttivo). To ensure alignment with the evolving industrial landscape, the Programme relies on an external Advisory Committee. Finally, Academic Mediators are appointed to provide confidential support and guarantee the well-being of doctoral candidates.
